The trails are sheltered by beautiful towering trees many of which are multi-stemmed; hazel is in abundance, with oak, ash and wych elm over a stunning ground layer of wood anemone, with garlic, bluebells, and several different species of orchid, including early purple, common spotted orchid and twayblad.  All of which creates an enjoyable walk through the wooded glen.
